Friend-powered dating, the way it used to work.
Date My Mate is a live in-person event where friends pitch their mates to the room at a pub. No swiping. No algorithm. Every person in the room has a mate behind them — someone who actually knows them.
The format
What happens at a Date My Mate night
Around fifteen people each present a short pitch deck about why their mate is a catch. Pitches happen in front of a full room at a participating pub, followed by mingling and drinks. It's part live show, part comedy night, part really good pub night — built specifically as an antidote to swipe-fatigue.
